Maintenance Technician – Loughton – £41,000+ Total Package – Mon to Fri, 35-Hour Week

An excellent opportunity for a Maintenance Technician to join a major client direct organisation in Loughton.

This is a permanent in-house position offering a 35-hour working week, excellent overall package, extensive technical training and long-term career progression. The role is ideally suited to an electrically biased engineer, although mechanically biased engineers with good M&E building services experience will also be considered.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Carrying out planned preventative maintenance across M&E building services
  • Responding to reactive faults and breakdowns
  • Electrical fault finding and general electrical maintenance
  • Supporting mechanical building services maintenance
  • Working across lighting, power, plant and associated building systems
  • Carrying out routine plant room inspections
  • Supporting HVAC and mechanical equipment
  • Identifying faults and completing remedial works
  • Liaising with specialist contractors where required
  • Completing maintenance records and job updates
  • Participating in an occasional callout rota
  • Working as part of an established in-house engineering team

What We're Looking For

  • Electrical bias ideally, although mechanically biased engineers will be considered
  • Relevant Electrical, Mechanical or Building Services qualification
  • Commercial M&E facilities maintenance experience
  • Good practical fault finding ability
  • Keen to undertake further technical training
