Maintenance Technician

Location: Thetford
Shifts: 4 on 4 off pattern, 4 Days and 4 Nights

About the Role

Our Thetford site is a breaded and coated product centre of excellence within the UK Poultry (Added Value) division. We use best in class equipment, which enables the site to deliver significant environmental benefits. The low-energy building is the flagship development within the 2 Sisters Food Group.

As a Maintenance Technician, you will be the front-line engineering solution for all site engineering needs. You will carry out both reactive and proactive maintenance activities, ensuring a right-first-time approach to breakdowns and planned maintenance schedules.

You will document all engineering activity on the CMMS system, support site production targets, and contribute to the delivery of the site engineering strategy.

Role Overview:

  • Perform routine and reactive maintenance on manufacturing machinery and equipment
  • Support mechanical, electrical, and general maintenance activities as required
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Collaborate closely with the Engineering Team and report to the Engineering Manager
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of equipment reliability and production efficiency

About you:

We are seeking a proactive and motivated individual with a minimum of an NVQ Level 3 in either mechanical or electrical engineering who is ready to take the next step in their career.
