About the Role

The Maintenance Department is a key support function within the blade manufacturing process. Our team of 24 Maintenance Technicians is responsible for servicing and maintaining tools, equipment, machinery, and transport systems across the site.

Our mission ensures that:

  • All equipment operates to the required standards
  • Breakdowns are resolved efficiently
  • Maintenance activities are accurately recorded within the Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) system

Responsibilities

As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for:

  • Maintaining electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical equipment, as well as hand tools
  • Maintaining calibration and measurement equipment and associated systems
  • Diagnosing and interrogating PLC-controlled equipment and systems
  • Administering maintenance systems, including planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive breakdown support
  • Ensuring work areas are maintained in a safe and clean condition using 5S methodology
  • Contributing to supplier evaluations for maintenance-related equipment and services
  • Working safely at all times and maintaining a strong safety culture among colleagues

  • Technical or vocational qualification in a maintenance-related discipline
  • OEM training on key equipment
  • Demonstrated experience maintaining equipment in a manufacturing setting

Working Hours

This role operates within our 24/7 manufacturing environment and requires participation in a rotating shift pattern.

Work Schedule:

  • 4 consecutive day shifts: 06:45 – 19:00

    • Followed by 4 days off
  • 4 consecutive night shifts: 18:45 – 07:00 (next day)

    • Followed by 4 days off

Each shift comprises 12.25 hours, with structured working patterns ensuring regular rest periods. Willingness and ability to work both day and night shifts is essential.
