Maintenance Technician (AD Plant / Mechanical)

£35,000 - £40,000 + OTE £45k + Training + Progression + Overtime + Free Parking + Company Benefits

Are you a Mechanical Maintenance Technician looking to develop your electrical skills and progress into a multi-skilled role within the growing renewable energy sector?

This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established specialist in anaerobic digestion, providing plant operation, maintenance and engineering solutions across the UK. You'll work as part of a skilled operating team, keeping a live industrial process running safely and efficiently.

In this role, you'll carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs across pumps, motors, valves, pipework and mechanical plant machinery, while also supporting the wider site operations. You'll receive training to develop your electrical maintenance skills, with the opportunity to work towards 17th/18th Edition.

The Role:

  • Carrying out planned preventative maintenance on pumps, motors, valves, pipework and mechanical plant
  • Diagnosing and repairing reactive breakdowns to minimise downtime
  • Carrying out basic electrical fault finding, with training provided
  • Completing maintenance records and identifying recurring issues
  • Sourcing parts and liaising with contractors and suppliers
  • Supporting daily plant checks, waste intake and general site operations

The Person:

  • Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, Mechanical Fitter, Maintenance Technician or similar background
  • Experience with pumps, pipework, mechanical drives
  • Full UK driving licence
