About the Role
ULTH is seeking a highly motivated Estates Mechanically Bias Technician to join the Estates department at Grantham Hospital. The post holder will be an active part of the Estates Technical team, working to meet Trust objectives in a safe, cost-effective, and efficient manner, in compliance with legislation and good practice.

Responsibilities
As a Maintenance Technician, you will report directly to the Estates management team and provide effective technical support for Estates & Capital Services. You will:
- Be encouraged to be proactive in team working
- Be supported as a team member and encourage team working by providing varied skills that support the department’s philosophy and flexible working
- Plan, organize operational maintenance for the estates maintenance team under the guidance of the Estates Officers
- Be appointed as an Authorised or Competent Person as required by the organisation
- Support the delivery of specific Estates Services across designated sites that will contribute to and support the Trust’s objectives
- Provide and nurture a patient-centred environment via the provision of Estates Services, recognising their contribution to the overall patient experience
- Provide both technical and non-technical advice to both clinical and non-clinical professionals
- Support the delivery of technical policy and procedures and implementation of documentation to the maintenance team and ensure compliance is achieved in various specialist disciplines

Qualifications and Skills
You will be expected to have a sound knowledge with applicable skills in an engineering-related discipline. Training and development will be available to ensure your skills become transferable and developed for your personal progression and support the Trust needs.

About the Group
United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust has been granted teaching hospital status, after demonstrating evidence of significant teaching commitment. From now on it will be known as United Lincolnshire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust.
Lincolnshire Community Health Services NHS Trust (LCHS) and United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust (ULHT) have come together in a Group arrangement, with the goal of improving the care provided to patients across the county. This will bring the Trusts together under a single Board and Executive Leadership Team, with the goal of improving the care that is provided to patients both in the community and in hospitals across Lincolnshire. Both Trusts will retain their separate statutory names and legal obligations.
The Group will be known as Lincolnshire Community and Hospitals NHS Group (LCHG).
