The Role
AIRE is looking for a Maintenance Technician to join our site in London, awarded as London’s Spa of the Year 2023, 2024 and 2025. You will join our team and be responsible for conducting general maintenance and repairs on facility equipment and property structures as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) developed by Operations Department.
- Clean and maintain our swimming pools in a safe and sanitary condition; brush and vacuum the swimming pool according to established procedures.
- Check and perform preventive maintenance on pumps, chlorinators, heating, and filtration equipment to maintain operative condition.
- Conduct day-to-day operation of various Electrical, Mechanical, Plumbing, and HVAC (Heating, Ventilating, Air Conditioning) systems for the facility.
- Carry out small repairs (plumbing, electricity, etc.).
- Work closely with various departments to solve day-to-day operational issues.
Who you are:
- You have a minimum of 2 years working with electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and fire protection systems. Electrical and plumbing experience would be highly advantageous.
- Previous experience with water treatment is highly valued.
- Desirable Legionella certification.
- You have an advanced level of English.

Shift patterns:
- Shifts are organised on a rotating schedule and are planned at least two weeks ahead.
- Operating hours start at 6:00 AM and end at 11:30 PM. Shifts are a maximum of 8.5 hours (including break). Operating days are Monday to Sunday, including bank holidays.
- Occasionally, you will be expected to work a night shift from 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM.
