easyHotel has an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Technician to join the team based in their Newcastle hotel.

As a Maintenance Technician you will need to ensure all guests can enjoy a room that presents a high standard of décor and is fully functional. Supporting the Hotel Management in protecting the asset by maintaining the physical appearance/ structure of the Hotel building, including all internal/ external fixtures and fittings.

Role & responsibilities:

  • Ensuring our guests receive great service
  • Strong communication skills; must have the ability to communicate effectively with the other Team Members and interact with guests and external contractors
  • Minimise the number of out-of-order rooms
  • Solid experience in building maintenance, ideally gained within a similar service environment.
  • You will be familiar with Planned Maintenance systems
  • Have an organised and systematic approach to your workload.
  • Experience with Electrical, Mechanical and plumbing work desired
  • Genuine concern for the quality of the product

Requirements:

  • Previous maintenance experience
  • Fluent in English
  • Must hold a valid Right to Work

Advantageous

  • Ability to speak any other language
