Maintenance Technician
We are looking for a hands-on and proactive Maintenance Technician to support the safe, reliable and efficient operation of our production facilities and site infrastructure across Daventry and Lawford Heath.
Working as part of a small and collaborative maintenance team, you will play an important role in maintaining production equipment, supporting site improvement projects and helping to ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the facility.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced maintenance professional who enjoys problem-solving, working in a varied manufacturing environment and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within a global organisation.
Your role
As Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out planned and reactive maintenance activities across production equipment and site services. You will work closely with colleagues and external contractors to maintain high standards of safety, reliability and operational performance.
In this role, you will:
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on production and site equipment
- Respond to equipment breakdowns and perform fault finding and repairs
- Maintain pumps, motors, pipework, compressed air systems, mixing vessels and filling equipment
- Perform basic electrical maintenance work within your level of competence
- Support site improvement and capital investment projects
- Liaise with external contractors and ensure work is completed safely and efficiently
- Conduct routine inspections and maintain accurate maintenance records
- Help identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability and site performance
- Support compliance with health, safety and environmental requirements
- Contribute to a safe, efficient and well-maintained working environment

About you
You are a practical and safety-conscious maintenance professional who enjoys solving technical problems and working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You take pride in delivering high-quality work, collaborating with colleagues and continuously improving equipment performance.
You bring:
Essential
- Experience in a mechanical maintenance role within manufacturing, production, industrial or process environment
- Experience maintaining pumps, motors, pneumatics, conveyors, pipework or processing equipment
- Knowledge of planned preventative maintenance (PPM) programmes
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Good understanding of health and safety requirements within an industrial environment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Full UK Driving Licence

Desirable
- Basic electrical maintenance experience
- Fabrication and welding skills
- FLT, IPAF or MEWP licences
- Experience working within a chemical, manufacturing or process industry environment
