What You Will Do?
As a Maintenance Engineer, you play a key role in ensuring the reliability and performance of manufacturing equipment in a dynamic industrial environment.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot faults across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, ensuring timely and effective repairs.
- Conduct root cause analysis on recurring issues and implement sustainable solutions to improve equipment reliability and reduce downtime.
- Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental standards, carrying out regular inspections and maintaining a safe working environment.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, working closely with production and engineering teams to optimise processes and performance.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, schedules, and documentation, while providing technical support and collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet operational goals.

What About You?
- You hold a relevant engineering qualification (Apprenticeship, HNC/HND, NVQ Level 3, or degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Manufacturing Engineering).
- You have proven experience in maintenance engineering within a manufacturing or industrial environment, with hands-on expertise in mechanical and electrical systems, including PLCs.
- You demonstrate strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to read technical drawings, schematics, and machine documentation.
- You are comfortable using maintenance tools, diagnostic equipment, and IT systems (including Microsoft Office and ideally SAP PM).
- You are organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment, with strong teamwork and communication skills.
- You are flexible and reliable, willing to work shifts, respond to emergencies, and operate in hands-on conditions, with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
