Maintenance Technician
Location: St Andrews, Harrogate
Salary: £18.21 per hour
Hours: 36 hours per week
About the Role
Join The Police Treatment Centres and play a vital role in maintaining a safe, high-quality environment where police officers recover and rebuild their health. Your work will directly support wellbeing and recovery every day. At The PTC, you are not just maintaining buildings, you are helping create and maintain a space where injured and recovering police officers can recuperate. Your work has a visible, meaningful impact every day.
Based at our unique 7-acre Harrogate site, St Andrews combines historic Victorian buildings with modern clinical facilities, based around a 91-bedroom rehabilitation centre.
Responsibilities
This is a hands-on, varied role where no two days are the same. Assisting the Facilities Manager you will:

- Carry out general maintenance and repairs
- Support refurbishment and improvement projects
- Respond to day-to-day maintenance needs as part of a small, dedicated team
- Ensure that all buildings and facilities are safe, compliant, and well-presented, helping to create a welcoming environment for patients and staff
Requirements
We are seeking a qualified and competent individual in a relevant trade, ideally with experience in a multi-skilled maintenance role or the ability to thrive in one. Experience in a healthcare or patient-focused environment is desirable but not essential.
