Maintenance & Tooling Engineer
Lincoln | Up to £42,000 | Monday to Friday | 38 Hours | Finish at Midday Every Friday
About the Role
Not every maintenance engineering role offers a genuine route into management. This one does. This opportunity has been created to support an experienced Maintenance Manager as part of a long-term succession plan. Over the coming years, you'll work closely alongside him, developing the technical and leadership skills needed to progress into the role yourself.

Key Responsibilities
- Working within a specialist manufacturing environment, you'll support the maintenance, reliability, and continuous improvement of around 30 key production assets, including:
- Hand presses
- Hydraulic and air servo presses
- Rolling machines
- Crimping presses
- Dispensers

- Alongside planned and reactive maintenance, you'll become heavily involved in:
- Improving maintenance systems
- Developing asset knowledge
- Supporting maintenance planning
- Identifying critical spares
- Helping shape the future of the maintenance function
Requirements
We're looking for:
- Time-served apprenticeship, NVQ Level 3, or equivalent engineering qualification
- Mechanical and electrical maintenance experience within manufacturing
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Experience with PPM and breakdown maintenance
- A proactive approach and genuine commitment to health and safety
- Ambition to develop into a future leadership position
