The Role
LifeScan is looking for a Maintenance & Facilities Engineer to support the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of its manufacturing plant and facilities. This is a varied, hands-on engineering role, supporting manufacturing equipment during the day and facilities plant during night shift cover.
This opportunity would suit an engineer with electrical and/or mechanical maintenance experience who enjoys problem-solving and working as part of a supportive team. Whether you have a strong manufacturing background or are looking to broaden your experience in a highly regulated environment, LifeScan offers comprehensive training and ongoing support to help you succeed in the role.

Shift Pattern
- 12-hour shifts (7:00am to 7:00pm and 7:00pm to 7:00am)
- 4 days on, 4 days off
What We're Looking For
We're keen to hear from engineers with a background in electrical and/or mechanical maintenance who enjoy problem-solving and working as part of a team.
- Experience working with pneumatic systems, PLC-controlled equipment, and interpreting electrical or pneumatic schematics would be highly beneficial.
- Ideally, you'll have experience carrying out planned and reactive maintenance within a manufacturing or similarly regulated environment.
- Familiarity with CMMS and document management systems, along with knowledge of low and extra-low voltage systems, would be advantageous.
Most importantly, we're looking for someone with a proactive approach, strong problem-solving skills, and a willingness to learn.
