The Role
LifeScan is seeking a Maintenance & Facilities Engineer to help keep their manufacturing plant and facilities running safely, efficiently, and reliably. This is a hands-on engineering role, supporting manufacturing equipment by day and facilities plant during night shift cover. Ideal for an electrically and mechanically skilled engineer with strong fault-finding experience in a regulated environment. Shift Pattern
- 12-hour shifts (7am - 7pm) & (7pm - 7am) working 4 on 4 off.
What You'll Need to Succeed
- Strong electrical and mechanical maintenance experience is essential, as well as good working knowledge of pneumatic systems and PLC-controlled equipment and an ability to read and interpret electrical and pneumatic schematics.
- Experience in performing planned and unplanned maintenance and a background working in a regulated manufacturing environment.
- You will need to be familiar with CMMS and document management systems and have experience with low and extra-low voltage systems along with a logical, methodical approach to fault-finding and problem-solving.
- You will need to be well-organised, proactive, and comfortable managing your own workload and be a team-focused engineer with clear communication skills.
