The Position:
We are currently seeking a reliable and practical Maintenance Person to support the day-to-day upkeep of the hotel and its grounds. This is a hands-on role responsible for carrying out general maintenance tasks to ensure the property remains safe, well-presented, and fully operational for our guests and team.
This is a part-time position, working 20 hours per week.
Your duties will include:
- Routine maintenance and repairs across the hotel
- Basic plumbing, electrical and joinery work
- Painting and decorating
- General DIY tasks
- Maintaining the outdoor areas of the property, including grass cutting, grounds upkeep, and ensuring the exterior areas are tidy and welcoming

You will work closely with the hotel management team to respond to maintenance requests, address issues promptly, and assist with small improvement projects around the property. From time to time, you may also support external contractors when specialist repairs or servicing are required.
The successful candidate will take pride in maintaining the hotel to a high standard and ensuring everything runs smoothly behind the scenes so that our guests enjoy a comfortable and enjoyable stay.
The Person:
Beyond the first-class physical modeling of our hotels, we’re also investing in our people. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a maintenance or handyman role, ideally within hospitality, facilities, or property maintenance. You will have practical skills across a range of basic trades including plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, painting and decorating, and general repairs.
You should be organized, proactive, and capable of working independently while managing a varied workload. A strong eye for detail, pride in maintaining high standards, and a flexible approach to tasks are important in this role.
Most importantly, you will be dependable, hands-on, and committed to ensuring the hotel is well maintained for both guests and colleagues.
