Keep Critical Services Running When It Matters Most

At Incite Insight, we believe great Major Incident Managers are more than process experts – they're calm under pressure, trusted by stakeholders and able to bring technical teams together to restore services quickly and effectively.

We're working with a well-established organisation that relies on a high-performing IT operations function and we're looking for an experienced Major Incident Manager on contract who will play a key part in their team.

If you enjoy taking ownership of major incidents, leading technical discussions and making a real difference to service performance, this could be an excellent opportunity.

What you'll be doing

You'll take ownership of high-impact service incidents from the moment they are identified through to full service restoration. Working alongside technical specialists, suppliers and business stakeholders, you'll ensure incidents are managed professionally, communications remain clear and everyone stays focused on achieving the best possible outcome.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
