Johnsons Workwear is looking for an ambitious Major Sales Consultant to join our field-based sales team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced sales professional to build new business relationships, win commercial contracts, and contribute to the continued growth of one of the UK's leading textile service providers.
Your focus will be on identifying and developing new business opportunities, presenting tailored solutions, negotiating commercial agreements, overcoming objections, and successfully closing sales. All supported by a dedicated appointment making team.
You'll work with prospects across a wide range of sectors including manufacturing, engineering, food production, motor trade, construction, chemical processing, and many more.

The Role
We recognise that strong onboarding and early support are critical to long-term success. That's why your first six months will include a structured induction programme, realistic performance targets, regular face-to-face reviews, and ongoing support from an experienced and collaborative sales team.
Key responsibilities include:
- Achieving monthly sales targets in line with agreed pricing structures, minimum charges, and discount guidelines
- Identifying, developing, and converting new business opportunities
- Building and maintaining strong customer relationships throughout the sales process before handing over to our dedicated customer service team
- Completing sales documentation accurately and submitting it in line with Installation Tracker requirements
- Maintaining accurate customer records within the CRM system
- Working closely with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure a smooth onboarding experience for new customers
- Developing a detailed understanding of the company's products and services
- Supporting additional business activities as required
