We are looking for a creative and innovative Makeup Education Lead to work with the team to bring our makeup brands to life, develop our future artists, and nurture our community of existing specialists.
The Role You Could Play:
- Design and deliver innovative educational content and experiences to grow the knowledge and skills of our MECCA Store Hosts, future specialists, and existing artists.
- Collaborate with the Makeup Education Manager and Learning Design team to make improvements to our existing Makeup training programs and introduce new courses and assessments to step-change the level of confidence/expertise in stores and doing so in a commercially considered way.
- Collaborate with the Education Innovation Lead on delivering skill-focused, MECCA-led training to support the delivery of new and existing services to close knowledge gaps and support new service trials.
- Build a strong relationship with the category brand managers and marketing leads to align on the delivery of the strategy for brands and overall category growth.
- Collaborate and build strong relationships with our makeup brands to provide direction on content that is impactful, store-focused, and aligns with the overall category priorities.
- Keeping up to date with business needs by proactively communicating with relevant departments, education leadership team, and field team.

What You Will Bring:
Aside from your demonstrated passion for educating our MECCA-mazing teams, paramount to your success is your ability to work in ambiguity and approach challenges with a ‘can-do’ attitude and solutions-focused mindset. You will demonstrate a genuine passion for artistry and all things makeup and be energized by the opportunity to build world-class customer-facing content and displaying your excellent copy writing and presentation experience.
You will also be able to demonstrate the following:
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships, work collaboratively, and influence decision-making.
- Expert knowledge of the makeup category, application techniques, trends, product formulations, and services, and an interest in commercial performance and customer insights.
- Ability to work flexibly in a fast-paced and agile environment.
- Flexible communication style, easily adaptable to suit relevant audience or medium.
- The ability to manage own workload, goal setting, planning, and deliver on budget commitments.
- Advanced Microsoft suite skills (PowerPoint, Word, Excel & Teams).
- Intermediate skills in production, filming, and editing software.
