🏋️ About the Role

Are you a compassionate and proactive Male Live-in Carer / Support Worker / Personal Assistant looking for a rewarding, community-focused role?

Join Paragon Home Healthcare and support a client living with a spinal cord injury (SCI) in his own home in London SE1. This role is centred around encouraging independence, building routine, and supporting access to the community, rather than purely task-based care.

This is a meaningful live-in role for someone with a positive, “can-do” attitude who enjoys motivating others, building rapport, and providing calm, consistent support.

Full training is provided, with ongoing support from our experienced nurse-led clinical and care team.

About the Client

Our client is a friendly and independent gentleman who has lived and worked internationally, with a long background as a hair stylist. He enjoys social interaction and previously led an active lifestyle, including sports and being outdoors.

Following his injury, he is keen to rebuild structure in his life, get out more, and regain a sense of normality. While he does have care needs, he is as self-sufficient as possible and benefits most from someone who can encourage, support and motivate rather than take over.

He particularly enjoys getting out for walks and day trips, and values a calm, respectful and capable approach from those supporting him.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
