Purpose of the Role
To ensure the Centre is a safe, welcoming and pleasant environment for customers and retailers, and the common areas are maintained in such a way that all rubbish is removed regularly, and machine washed daily, including; cleaning all internal and external low level glass, clearing spillages and dusting surfaces. To ensure any accidents and/or incidents are reported and a high level of customer service is provided at all times.
Must be flexible as needs to cover site teams annual leave when required.
Key Responsibilities
- Refuse collection from waste bins.
- Removal of all food and liquid spillages.
- Cleaning toilets.
- Removal of black marks from tiled areas.
- Dust control mopping.
- Removal of dust and debris by suction cleaning.
- Machine stripping and scrubbing.
- Machine scrubbing of tiled areas.
- Undertake regular inspections of the Centre as instructed by the Centre Manager.
- Carry out duties in accordance with instructions issued by Centre Manager.
- Comply fully with the Health & Safety Policy for the centre.
- Ensure that the requirements of the Fire regulations are strictly complied with.
- Ensure that the Rules & Regulations of the Centre are complied with at all times.
- Ensure that the centre is a safe and pleasant environment.
- Assist with enquiries from the public as required.
- Be aware of and abide by all rules, terms and conditions of the company.
- Holiday relief when other operatives use annual leave.

Skills, Knowledge and Experience
- Previous Cleaning Experience.
- Experience and knowledge with working with chemicals.
- COSHH.
- Manual Handling.
- Experience with using floor cleaner.
Working Hours
- Part-time 09:00 – 14:00 Mondays & Thursdays with additional holiday cover.
Salary
- £12.71ph
