Role Description
To undertake mammography imaging within symptomatic and screening clinics, including the acquisition of high-quality diagnostic images, assistance with interventional procedures, and participation in quality assurance programs.
The post holder will contribute to the delivery of a high-quality, patient-centered breast imaging service, working as part of a multidisciplinary team and supporting clinical governance and service improvement.

As a Mammographer you will be part of a dedicated team providing a high-quality patient centered Mammography Service.
The post holder will be accountable for their own clinical practice and professional development, working within agreed protocols and professional standards.
They will contribute to quality assurance, audit and service improvement activities and support multidisciplinary working across the service.
You will supervise and participate in the practical training of student mammographers and/or other medical staff, as required, within the trust.
