Remedy International Medical are working with an established hospital in Bermuda, which is a British Overseas Territory to recruit an experienced Mammographer / Imaging Technologist to join their established team.
Situated in the North Atlantic, with a sub-tropical climate, beautiful beaches and aquarium-like waters, and plenty of sandy coves, if you love the outdoors, this could be the island for you.
Responsibilities:
- Actions Physicians’ requisitions, produces and evaluates images for diagnostic clarity and possible pathology.
- Communicates deviations from quality control norms to the Imaging Resource Technologist, Senior Imaging Technologist or Radiologist/Cardiologist as required.
- Operates and maintains Imaging and Imaging support equipment (PACS cube, PACS, etcetera) in a safe and efficient manner.
- Transports and uses portable equipment to required hospital areas to perform imaging procedures. Observes all BHB Critical Care area policies, sterile techniques and anesthesia safety precautions.
- Accepts responsibility for continuing competencies through on-going professional development including participation in educational programs.
- Practices Radiation Safety and Infection Control techniques at all times.
- May be required to rotate through the imaging modalities to gain experience and / or credentials to work in specialized areas based upon certifications. The modalities include Radiology, CAT Scan, MRI, Nuclear Medicine, Mammography and Bone Density.

Qualifications & Registration:
- Undergraduate degree in Medical Imaging or Radiologic Technology from an accredited institution
- Registration / certification from an accredited program: Radiology, CAT scan, MRI, Nuclear Medicine, Mammography and Bone Density.
- Current ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technology) /CAMRT (Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists) or equivalent with demonstrated competencies

Level 2 Imaging Technologist
- Salary BP27-29 (starting at $106,624.8 per annum)
- Modality (primary pathway): Single modality in one of the applicable Primary Pathways: X-ray, MRI, Nuclear Medicine
- Experience: Two (2) or more years of post-graduate experience required with the applicable certification from an accredited institution
Level 3 Imaging Technologist
- Salary BP 28-30 (starting at $110,621.61 per annum)
- Modality (post-primary pathway): CAT Scan, MRI, Nuclear Medicine, Mammography, Bone Densitometry.
- Experience: Two (2) or more years of post-graduate experience required with the applicable certifications from an accredited institution (based on jurisdiction) and actively rotating.
