About the opportunity
A.N. Richards Ltd is looking for a motivated and commercially minded MAN TGE Sales Specialist to join our team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced commercial vehicle salesperson or a strong B2B sales professional ready to move into the sector to take ownership of a local territory and help grow our MAN TGE business.
You’ll develop new opportunities, build trusted customer relationships and manage the entire sales journey, from initial contact and vehicle specification through to quotation, order management and handover.
About A.N. Richards
Established in 1962, A.N. Richards Ltd is a family-run commercial vehicle business based near Llangollen.
We provide new and used truck and van sales, vehicle hire, servicing and maintenance, MOT testing, breakdown support, parts, tacho calibration and Bodyshop repairs.
Our reputation has been built by combining specialist knowledge with straightforward, dependable quality service. We believe in doing what we promise, treating people properly, taking ownership and working together to support our customers.
As our MAN TGE Sales Specialist, you will:
- Proactively identify and develop retail, small-business and local fleet customers
- Build and manage a healthy pipeline of leads, opportunities, proposals and orders
- Understand each customer’s operational and commercial requirements
- Recommend and specify suitable MAN TGE vehicles and associated solutions
- Prepare accurate quotations and present clear commercial proposals
- Arrange customer visits, vehicle demonstrations and accompanied test drives
- Promote relevant finance, warranty, maintenance, accessories and aftersales solutions
- Manage customer orders from acceptance through preparation and final handover
- Maintain accurate CRM records, forecasts and follow-up actions
- Work closely with sales, workshop, parts, hire and administration colleagues
- Represent A.N. Richards and MAN with professionalism, honesty and dependable service

What we’re looking for
Essential:
- Relevant commercial vehicle sales experience or strong comparable B2B sales experience
- A proven ability to generate new business and develop lasting customer relationships
- A consultative, customer-focused approach
- Strong communication, negotiation and commercial judgement
- Self-motivation, resilience and the ability to plan and work independently
- Accurate administration and confidence using CRM, email and standard business systems
- A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel regularly within the territory

Desirable:
- Experience with MAN TGE, Volkswagen, the Volkswagen Crafter or a related product
- An established network of local commercial vehicle, fleet or business customers
- Experience with vehicle finance, part exchange, maintenance products or vehicle order management
- Welsh language skills

Training and support
You’ll receive a structured induction together with ongoing manufacturer and dealership training. Regular one-to-one reviews will provide clear priorities, coaching and support while giving you genuine ownership of your territory.
