Professional Services Engineer
We're working with a well-established provider in the managed print space to find a Professional Services Engineer to join their delivery team.
The key focus of this role will be on print management software, print software installation and troubleshooting, alongside broader IT/print support. This is a field-based role involving travel to customer sites combined with remote working — a great fit for someone who enjoys variety and wants to build deep expertise in print solutions.
What you'll be doing:
- Acting as first point of contact for installation planning, liaising directly with customer IT teams to build out implementation plans
- Managing your own projects — defining requirements, working with account managers and customers, and overseeing delivery through to completion
- Carrying out site surveys and installing/configuring print management software and print solutions at customer sites
- Supporting the wider IT stack — diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and network connectivity issues
- Logging and tracking work accurately through the service management system
- Escalating complex issues to management or specialist teams where needed
- Contributing to knowledge base documentation, particularly around print solution software
- Keeping relevant solutions certifications current

- Solid understanding of IT systems — Windows OS, Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Azure
- Strong knowledge of, or exposure to, print solution software such as Papercut, MyQ, Optimidoc, or Uniflow is essential
- Comfortable working within a ticketing system (Vantage, ServiceNow, Zendesk, Freshdesk or similar)
- A genuinely strong communicator — someone who can explain technical things simply to non-technical people
- Organised, self-sufficient, and calm when things get busy
Candidates need to be based within Bucks, Berks, Oxon, London or the Southeast
