About The Role
PwC’s Managed Services delivers trusted expertise, rapid execution, and enduring outcomes by blending cutting-edge technology with deep operational insight. As part of the Solutioning Team within the Managed Service Catalyst—a specialist group driving PwC’s managed services growth—this role plays a pivotal part in designing and scaling high-impact solutions. Collaborating across Sales Directors, Solution Architects, and enabling functions, the role leads the development and execution of robust solutioning methodologies. It ensures our offerings address complex client challenges and position PwC to win and deliver transformative managed services engagements that create lasting strategic, regulatory, and commercial advantage.
What Your Days Will Look Like
- Lead qualification and shaping of public sector managed service opportunities, aligning client objectives, procurement context, and PwC risk appetite.
- Define and own bid strategy and win themes, creating a clear narrative that links client needs, policy drivers, and PwC differentiation.
- Act as lead author and quality reviewer for core bid content, ensuring responses are compliant, compelling, evaluable, and aligned to public sector scoring methodologies.
- Design end-to-end managed service solutions, including operating and governance models, service delivery, workforce planning, transition, mobilisation, and transformation roadmaps.
- Ensure solutions are scalable, commercially viable, and compliant with public sector requirements such as transparency, auditability, and value for money.
- Embed credible, measurable social value propositions into service design, aligned to public sector priorities and contractually deliverable.
- Collaborate with commercial and finance teams to shape pricing, commercial models, and contractual risk mitigation.
- Orchestrate cross-firm and partner inputs, lead governance sign-off, mentor colleagues, and own handover from bid to delivery to enable successful mobilisation.

This Role Is For You If You Have
- Extensive experience designing and solutioning public sector managed services or outsourced services, ideally across complex, regulated environments.
- Proven track record of leading solution design and bid writing for public sector procurements, including major competitive tenders.
- Strong understanding of public sector procurement, evaluation, and commercial models.
- Experience embedding social value and transformation outcomes into service design in a credible, measurable way.
- Ability to translate complex service models into clear, persuasive written narratives for bid evaluation.
- Confident senior stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence partners, clients, and internal governance forums.
- Experience coaching and developing others in solutioning and bid disciplines.
