Field Operations Technician

Greater Manchester

£30,000 + Salary Progression + Fully Expensed Travel

Are you looking for a hands-on role that combines travel, technology and working at some of the UK's leading sporting venues?

Our client is an innovative technology business experiencing significant growth and is looking to add several Field Operations Technicians to its expanding team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys practical work, travelling across the UK and being part of a close-knit team delivering high-profile projects.

The Role

Working as part of a specialist operations team, you'll support the delivery of large-scale activations and projects at major sporting and event venues across the UK.

The position is a blend of field-based work and depot-based preparation, offering plenty of variety and opportunities to develop new skills.

Responsibilities

  • Travelling to customer sites throughout the UK
  • Assisting with installation and removal projects
  • Preparing equipment and vehicles ahead of deployments
  • Loading and unloading equipment
  • Supporting project delivery on-site
  • Carrying out routine equipment checks and maintenance
  • Working closely with experienced team leaders
  • Ensuring projects are completed safely and to a high standard
