Oakley Recruitment is working in partnership with an expanding organisation based in Coventry. This is an excellent opportunity to join the team as a Management Accountant on a full-time permanent basis.

Job Role

  • Managing, controlling, reconciling, and producing the financial and management accounts reporting, including the Group’s monthly internal reporting for stocks, profit & loss and balance sheet
  • Reconciling and ensuring agreement of all inter-group debtors and creditors each month end
  • Reconciling and ensuring accurate recording of all monthly payroll costs
  • Providing analysis required to support the Tax department with the tax affairs
  • Preparing the annual UK statutory accounts and other statutory government returns, such as those required on a wide variety of financial subjects by the Office for National Statistics, or the Financial Conduct Authority
  • Liaising with external auditors and other parties ensuring compliance with all UK company legislation
  • Acting as the key point of contact on accounting issues, in particular the members of the Controlling team involved in the Activities, and to ensure that all departments understand and comply with the Stellantis Group accounting standards
  • Responsible for the accuracy of the balance sheet reconciliations allocated to you and report thereon on a timely basis within the STAR[T] reconciliation reporting tool
  • Working closely with colleagues in other departments and be their principal contact on accounting matters including reconciliations prepared outside of ANEC
  • Maintaining the necessary internal controls and to ensure the accuracy of the monthly account postings
  • Providing an efficient and accurate accounting service to all departments within the Preparing adhoc analysis and reporting for as required from time to time

Skills and Experience

  • Qualifications evidencing your Accounting proficiency (CIMA, ACCA, ACA)
  • Minimum 2 years in professional services industry
  • Business partnering experience
  • Self-motivated, self-disciplined individual who is able to work under pressure
  • Able to teamwork with your fellow Accountants as well as taking own initiative
  • Excellent communicator and able to work confidently with all levels of colleague from inexperienced new junior staff through to Department Directors
