Management Accountant
As a Management Accountant in the industrial and manufacturing sector, you'll play a crucial role in maintaining the financial health of the business. From preparing management reports to analysing budgets, your work will help the company make informed financial decisions.

A company within the industrial and manufacturing sector. Looking for a candidate to support the Financial Controller.
Description
- Assist with month-end close procedures to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Prepare monthly management accounts, including profit and loss analysis and investigation of variances.
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations and maintain accurate supporting schedules.
- Support the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections.
- Assist with year-end accounts preparation, audit processes, and statutory reporting requirements.
- Oversee the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Support standard cost management and transfer pricing processes.
- Assist with ad hoc financial analysis and projects as required by the Finance team.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of financial processes, controls, and best practices.
- Perform and review intercompany reconciliations.
- Provide timely financial information, reports, and analysis to support the Finance Manager and wider business decision-making.

A successful Management Accountant should have:
- CIMA / ACCA Studier / QBE
- Strong technical knowledge of double-entry accounting, reconciliations, and VAT.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP or accounting systems (experience with Epicor is desirable).
- Proactive, collaborative, and committed to process improvement and continuous development.
Job Offer
- Salary between £45,000 and £50,000, dependent on the level of experience.
- 25 days of annual leave.
- Permanent position in the industrial and manufacturing sector.
- Office Based
