We are working with a well-established, privately owned Manufacturing business to recruit a Management Accountant to join its finance team for a 12 month fixed term contract.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure day-to-day accounting transactions are processed efficiently.
- Handle supplier invoices from receipt through to processing and payment, working with internal teams where necessary to resolve queries and obtain approvals.
- Record and allocate customer receipts, ensuring transactions are correctly reflected within the accounting system.
- Complete regular bank reconciliations and investigate any discrepancies.
- Review and process employee expenses and company credit card transactions.
- Assist with the organisation and maintenance of finance documentation and records.
- Provide general administrative support to the finance function, including document management and dealing with incoming correspondence.
- Contribute to the monthly finance cycle by assisting with reconciliations and other routine close activities.
- Support the wider finance team with ad-hoc accounting and administrative requirements as they arise.

About You
- Previous experience within a finance, accounts, bookkeeping or similar position.
- Good exposure to transactional accounting, including invoices, reconciliations, expenses or cash allocation.
- A strong eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining accurate financial information.
- The ability to prioritise a varied workload and consistently meet deadlines.
- Good communication skills and the confidence to work with colleagues across the wider business.
- A practical and methodical approach to problem solving.
- Competence with Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting software or ERP systems.
