Elevation Accountancy & Finance are delighted to be partnering with a well-established, family-owned business as they look to appoint an experienced Part Time Management Accountant to join their finance team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced finance professional to take ownership of the monthly management accounts process while supporting the wider financial operations of the business.
Key responsibilities include:
- Producing monthly management accounts and leading the month-end close process
- Preparing accruals, prepayments, fixed asset accounting, cash flow reporting and other month-end journals
- Producing balance sheet reconciliations and supporting commentary
- Coordinating the annual budgeting process and assisting with forecasting
- Reviewing weekly and monthly bank reconciliations and providing support where required
- Supporting the preparation for the annual external audit
- Completing quarterly VAT returns
- Investigating and resolving accounting queries and financial discrepancies

The successful candidate will have previous experience in a Management Accountant position and be confident managing a varied workload to meet deadlines. You'll be proactive, organised and able to work independently, while also building strong relationships with colleagues and senior management across the business.
