Management Accountant – Temporary - Beaconsfield– Fully Office Based - £45,000 - £50,000 per annum

About the Job

This temporary Management Accountant position will provide additional support to the finance function during a period of absence. Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will be involved in management reporting, month-end accounting, budgeting, and forecasting across UK and international operations. The role provides broad exposure and regular interaction with finance, sales, and operational teams.

Duties will include:

  • Supporting the production of monthly management accounts and reporting across multiple international entities.
  • Preparing and posting month-end journals covering areas such as payroll, income, overheads, and other costs.
  • Maintaining reconciliations and supporting schedules to ensure financial information is complete and accurate.
  • Producing and reviewing key financial and operational measures, highlighting significant movements and trends.
  • Assisting with budgeting and forecasting and analysing actual performance against expectations.
  • Liaising with finance colleagues across different locations to obtain information and resolve reporting queries.
  • Working with sales and operational teams to provide clear financial information that supports business decisions.
  • Monitoring financial performance and providing relevant analysis to stakeholders.
  • Contributing to improvements in finance processes, controls, and reporting.
  • Providing additional transactional and administrative support to the wider finance team when required.

About the Successful Applicant

You will be part-qualified or studying towards a recognised chartered accountancy qualification, with practical month-end and management accounting experience. Strong double-entry knowledge, Excel, and analytical skills are essential, alongside excellent attention to detail and communication skills. Experience within a multi-entity, international, or multi-currency environment would be advantageous, as would familiarity with Xero, ApprovalMax, Mayday, or IFRS.
