Management Accountant

I am partnering exclusively with a growing manufacturing business in Cambridge as they look to hire a new Management Accountant on a full-time, permanent basis.

This is a brilliant opportunity to join an ambitious business at an exciting point in its growth journey. Working closely with the Financial Controller and senior leadership team, you’ll play a key role in delivering the reporting and financial insight needed to drive performance across the business.

With plenty happening across the group, there will be real opportunity to add value, improve processes and get involved in automation and AI initiatives – so if you’re someone who looks at a manual finance process and immediately starts thinking about how it could be made more efficient, this could be a great fit.

Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of weekly and monthly accounts, including variance analysis and commentary
  • Supporting rolling forecasts and explaining variances against targets
  • Month-end journals and balance sheet review and reconciliation
  • Working capital reporting and short-term cash flow forecasting
  • Strengthening financial controls and identifying process improvements
  • Business partnering with operational teams to improve performance
  • Liaising with group functions and external auditors where required

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
