Underpin the finance team and be a part of the ever-thriving Student Accommodation sector.

I am representing a growing, well-funded real estate investment and operating business seeking a Financial Accountant to join its London-based finance team.

Reporting directly to the Senior Financial Controller, this role offers the opportunity to become a key member of a high-performing finance function, taking ownership of financial reporting while working alongside an established outsourced finance team.

Experience reviewing, challenging, and managing reporting produced by outsourced accounting providers would be highly advantageous, although not essential.

The business operates within the Purpose-Built Student Accommodation (PBSA) sector, one of the UK's most resilient and attractive real estate asset classes.

Against a backdrop of continued growth in both domestic and international student numbers, demand for high-quality student housing continues to significantly outpace supply across many major university cities.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
