Management Accountant

£38,000–£45,000 per annum | 4–5 days office based

About the Client

Wade Macdonald is working exclusively with an established and growing SME within the Business Services sector on the appointment of a new Management Accountant. Based near the Thame area and with around 100 employees globally, this is an organisation where people are encouraged to get involved, take ownership and make a genuine contribution.

They are looking for someone who will enjoy being part of a friendly team and who brings plenty of energy and personality to their work. Their culture is rooted in collaboration and approachability, with a working environment where people can build strong relationships across the organisation.

About the Job

This is a varied, hands-on Management Accountant role, combining management and financial accounting with reporting, FX and project work. Working closely with the Finance Manager and Finance Director, you will become a key member of a small finance team.

It would particularly suit an all-round accountant who enjoys getting into the detail, solving problems and finding better ways of doing things. As the organisation continues to grow, there will also be opportunities to become involved in systems, reporting improvements and additional projects.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
