Management Accountant – FTC
Location: Hucknall
Salary: £40,000 - £50,000
Contract: Fixed-Term Contract - 15 months. Hybrid working.

About the Job
This fixed-term Management Accountant position will provide key support to the finance team, combining month-end and management reporting responsibilities with analysis, audit support and involvement in business improvement projects. The role offers plenty of interaction across finance and the wider organisation, including working with an overseas transactional reporting team.
Duties will include:
- Assisting with month-end reporting and the production of management information, including divisional reporting for Group purposes.
- Completing and reviewing balance sheet and accounting reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records.
- Collaborating with wider finance teams and the transactional reporting function in India to ensure financial information is complete and accurate.
- Contributing to finance transformation projects, including process improvements and changes to accounting systems.
- Supporting the Group audit process and working with external auditors to provide information and investigate queries.
- Producing ad-hoc financial analysis and commercial insight to support business requirements.
- Helping to identify opportunities to strengthen processes and improve financial documentation.

About the Successful Applicant
You will have previous Management Accounting or Finance Business Partnering experience and ideally be ACA, ACCA or CIMA part-qualified, or possess equivalent experience. Strong Excel, general ledger accounting, financial systems, reporting and analytical skills are important. You will be comfortable working cross-functionally, able to interpret the story behind the numbers and communicate financial information clearly, with excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
