Management Accountant

About the Job
This is an excellent opportunity for a Management Accountant to join a busy finance function, supporting the delivery of accurate management information while partnering with stakeholders across the organisation.
The role offers a varied remit spanning management reporting, budgeting and forecasting, commercial analysis, audit support and finance transformation.
Duties will include:
- Assisting with month-end reporting and the production of management information for wider Group reporting
- Completing and reviewing balance sheet and other finance reconciliations, working closely with colleagues across the finance function
- Collaborating with Finance Business Partners on budgets and forecasts, ensuring financial plans reflect operational priorities
- Working alongside Sales and Marketing teams to understand commercial trends and assess the financial impact of campaigns and promotional activity
- Contributing to finance transformation initiatives, including process improvements and accounting system changes
- Supporting the external audit process by preparing financial information and helping investigate queries
- Producing ad-hoc financial analysis and insight to support business decision-making
- Working with cross-functional and international finance colleagues to maintain accurate and timely financial information

About the Successful Applicant
You will have previous Management Accounting or Finance Business Partnering experience and ideally be ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified, although part-qualified candidates with relevant experience will also be considered. Strong Excel, general ledger and financial systems knowledge are important, alongside excellent analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills. You will enjoy understanding the commercial drivers behind the numbers and identifying opportunities to improve processes.
