A well-established and highly successful Belfast-based organisation is seeking an ambitious Senior Management Accountant to join its finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment where finance plays a key role in driving operational and strategic decision-making. This position offers significant visibility across the business, providing exposure to senior leadership, multi-site operations, and key commercial projects.
You'll have the opportunity to develop your business partnering skills while helping shape financial performance through insightful analysis and robust financial reporting.
The Role
Working closely with operational and senior management teams, you will be responsible for delivering accurate financial reporting, driving performance analysis, and providing valuable commercial insight to support business growth.

Key Responsibilities
- Preparation and review of weekly financial and KPI reporting.
- Production of monthly management accounts with detailed performance analysis.
- Budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
- Analysis of profitability and performance across multiple business units.
- Business partnering with operational managers to support informed decision-making.
- Supporting strategic projects, including business improvement initiatives and acquisitions.
- Stock reporting, financial controls, and performance monitoring.
- Liaising with internal and external auditors.
- Providing commercial insight and financial guidance across the organisation.
What We're Looking For
- Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
- Minimum two years' post-qualified management accounting experience.
- Strong financial reporting and commercial analysis skills.
- Experience preparing budgets, forecasts, and management accounts.
- Advanced Excel and financial systems capability.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Commercial mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Experience within a multi-site, distribution, manufacturing, retail, or FMCG environment would be advantageous.
