Citadel Source is delighted to be partnering with a PE-backed services business to recruit their new Management Accountant.

A bit about our client...

Our client is a fast-paced organisation operating within a specialist services environment and is entering a key stage of its growth journey. With private equity backing and a focus on improving financial processes, reporting capability and operational performance, they are seeking a Management Accountant to support accurate monthly reporting, strengthen financial controls and provide meaningful insight to operational leaders.

The role

Reporting to the Divisional Finance Director, this position plays a central role in delivering timely and accurate monthly accounts, supporting forecasting and budgeting cycles, and partnering with managers across the business to review performance. The Management Accountant will also line manage a team of three, overseeing elements of the transactional finance function and contributing to ongoing process improvements. The role is predominantly based on-site in Herefordshire with the Group Finance team. However, there is an expectation to spend time with the division this role supports in the Midlands during the first three months, allowing you to build relationships with key stakeholders and gain a solid understanding of the business.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
