We are partnering with a leading information and intelligence business operating within a specialist global market. The company is investing heavily in its finance function, with a focus on commercial insight, automation, process improvement, and the adoption of new technologies across finance.

With a collaborative culture and broad exposure across the business, this is an excellent opportunity to join a high-performing finance team in a role that combines management accounting, business partnering, and project work.

About the Role

We're looking for a qualified Management Accountant to support the delivery of management accounts and financial reporting while partnering with stakeholders across the organisation. This is a broad role offering exposure to management accounts, monthly reporting, commercial finance, business partnering, and finance transformation initiatives.

You'll work closely with budget holders and senior finance stakeholders across the business, helping to provide meaningful financial insight while contributing to ongoing process improvements, automation projects, and AI-driven initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Management Accounting & Financial Reporting

  • Support the preparation of monthly management accounts.
  • Process month-end journals, accruals, and provisions.
  • Produce KPI, revenue, EBITDA, and headcount reporting.
  • Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and supporting schedules.
  • Analyse and explain month-on-month and quarter-on-quarter variances.
  • Support statutory and group audit requirements.

Business Partnering & Commercial Finance

  • Partner with budget holders across the organisation.
  • Work closely with FP&A on commercial and strategic initiatives.
  • Support departmental reporting and performance analysis.
  • Provide financial insight and respond to stakeholder queries.
  • Contribute to projects such as pricing reviews and new product launches.

Projects & Continuous Improvement

  • Support finance systems upgrades and improvement projects.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline reporting processes.
  • Contribute to automation and AI-led finance initiatives.
  • Participate in wider finance transformation activities.
  • Help improve reporting accuracy, efficiency, and controls.

About You

  • ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified.
  • Strong management accounting and financial reporting experience.
  • Advanced Excel skills and high attention to detail.
  • Confident working with both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
  • Strong communication and analytical skills.
  • Experience within SaaS, subscription, media, or PE-backed environments would be advantageous.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment.
