We're recruiting for two Management Accountants to join a dynamic finance team supporting a number of operational business units. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys partnering with operational stakeholders, producing high-quality financial reporting, and contributing to the success of a fast-paced organisation.

Reporting to a Divisional Financial Controller, you'll take ownership of the monthly management accounts for a portfolio of business units, ensuring accurate reporting and providing valuable financial insight to support commercial decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare monthly management accounts, balance sheet reconciliations and supporting schedules in line with reporting deadlines.
  • Produce variance analysis, identifying key trends, risks and opportunities.
  • Support the budgeting, forecasting and cash flow planning process.
  • Ensure stock and inventory reconciliations are completed accurately, including supporting periodic stock counts where required.
  • Build strong relationships with operational managers, providing financial guidance and support.
  • Ensure compliance with financial controls, company policies and statutory requirements.
  • Assist with year-end accounts, audit preparation and balance sheet integrity.
  • Identify opportunities to improve financial processes, reporting and controls.
  • Support wider finance projects as the business continues to grow.

About You

  • Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA).
  • Strong management accounting and financial reporting experience.
  • Excellent Excel and finance systems knowledge.
  • Experience working within a multi-site business would be advantageous.
  • Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
  • Confident communicator with the ability to build relationships across the business.
  • Proactive, organised and commercially minded.
