Our client is a fast-growing financial services group, seeking a qualified Management Accountant to join the team.
The role:
You'll own the monthly numbers and make them useful to the senior team. You'll also help bring newly acquired businesses onto group systems and reporting.
- Produce monthly management accounts: P&L, balance sheet, cash flow and variance commentary
- Complete balance sheet reconciliations and clear open items quickly
- Help build board packs and shareholder reporting
- Prepare audit samples and work with the auditors to close queries
- Support VAT, statutory reporting and compliance as needed
- Bring acquired businesses onto group processes, systems and controls
- Find ways to automate and improve reporting, and pick up projects for senior management

You'll have:
- ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent, 0-3 years PQE
- Experience preparing or auditing management and statutory accounts
- Strong Excel and a good grasp of finance systems
- Attention to detail, commercial awareness and a problem-solving approach
- The confidence to talk numbers with senior stakeholders
- Nice to have: process improvement or M&A experience
