Are you a newly qualified accountant looking for a role with real ownership, senior-level exposure, and an interesting business behind the numbers?
We’re recruiting a Management Accountant to join an ambitious organisation operating within the TV & Entertainment space based in the heart of Glasgow. Working closely with the Finance Director and senior leadership, you’ll sit at the heart of a fast-moving, project-led business, taking ownership of management accounting/reporting while gaining a strong understanding of the commercial and operational activity driving performance.
It’s a broad role with plenty of visibility. You’ll own key reporting processes, support senior decision-making, manage a Finance/AP Assistant, and gain exposure across projects, corporate reporting, audit, and wider finance. For a recently qualified accountant, it offers the opportunity to build commercial experience, broaden your remit, and take on meaningful responsibility early in your post-qualified career.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
