Management Accountant
Leicester | £55,000 - £65,000 + Benefits | Hybrid Working (3 Days Office-Based)
A well-established, multi-site organisation is seeking a qualified Management Accountant to join its growing finance function in Leicester.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced accountant looking to take ownership of month-end reporting, financial analysis, and balance sheet integrity within a dynamic, fast-paced environment. The role would suit someone who enjoys getting into the detail, understanding the story behind the numbers, and providing meaningful financial insight to support decision-making.

Key Responsibilities
- Ownership of the month-end close process
- Preparation and posting of journals, accruals, and prepayments
- Detailed balance sheet reconciliations and review of key control accounts
- Revenue, commission, and profitability analysis
- Production of monthly management accounts and reporting packs
- Variance analysis and financial performance commentary
- Support budgeting and forecasting activities
- Work closely with operational and finance stakeholders to improve reporting accuracy
- Identify risks, trends, and opportunities through robust financial analysis
- Support continuous improvement of finance processes and controls

About You
- ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified
- Previous industry experience within a Management Accountant, Financial Accountant, or similar role
- Strong month-end and management accounting experience
- Proven background performing meaningful balance sheet reconciliations and understanding the commercial drivers behind balances
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience of revenue analysis and financial reporting
- Sage 200 experience highly desirable
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
