Bradford | up to £50,000 + benefits

Hybrid working

We are working with a fast-growing, acquisitive service business based in Bradford that is entering an exciting period of continued expansion. As the business grows both organically and through acquisition, they are looking to appoint an experienced Management Accountant to strengthen the finance function and play a key role in supporting the wider business.

This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded accountant who enjoys working in a high-growth, fast-paced environment and wants to take ownership of the management accounting process while gaining exposure to acquisitions and business growth.

The Role

Reporting to the senior finance team, you will take responsibility for the production of accurate and insightful management accounts, providing key financial information to support decision-making across the business.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing monthly management accounts and associated reporting packs.
  • Producing detailed P&L analysis, balance sheet reconciliations and variance analysis.
  • Providing meaningful commentary and insight into financial performance.
  • Supporting budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes.
  • Working closely with operational and commercial teams to understand business performance.
  • Investigating variances and identifying opportunities to improve profitability and financial control.
  • Supporting the integration and reporting of newly acquired businesses.
  • Improving and streamlining management accounting processes and controls.
  • Assisting with year-end accounts and audit requirements.
  • Providing ad-hoc financial analysis and commercial insight to senior management.
  • Contributing to the continued development of the finance function as the business grows.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
