Management Accountant

Location: Solihull, Birmingham (Hybrid Working)
Salary: Up to £35,000 + Study Support (ACCA/CIMA)

Are you a part-qualified accountant looking for a role that offers exposure beyond the traditional month-end process? We're recruiting for a commercially focused Management Accountant to join a growing organisation where you'll work closely with operational stakeholders, provide valuable financial insight, and help drive business performance.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious finance professional looking to develop their management accounting skills while gaining exposure to budgeting, forecasting, analysis, and stakeholder partnering.

The Role

Working as part of a collaborative finance team, you'll support the production of management information, analyse financial performance, and help operational teams make informed commercial decisions. Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparing and posting journals, accruals and prepayments.
  • Supporting the month-end close process and ensuring reporting deadlines are achieved.
  • Producing accurate management information and performance analysis.
  • Reviewing financial results, investigating variances and identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Providing weekly reporting and analysis to support business decision making.
  • Supporting budgeting, forecasting and financial planning activities.
  • Building relationships with operational stakeholders across multiple sites.
  • Providing financial insight and constructive challenge where appropriate.
  • Identifying and implementing improvements to reporting processes and controls.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
