Management Accountant - Cambridge
£45,000 - £55,000
Hybrid Working (3 Days Office / 2 Days Home)
An opportunity has arisen for a Management Accountant to join one of the most exciting and innovative companies Cambridge has seen in recent years, during a key phase of its development.
This role offers the chance to work closely with senior leadership, providing meaningful financial insight and supporting business decision-making in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will gain broad exposure across management accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and process improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparation of monthly management accounts
- Budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Financial modelling and business performance reporting
- Balance sheet reconciliations, accruals, and prepayments
- Sales and purchase ledger oversight
- Supporting payroll processes
- Audit and statutory reporting support
- Grant, investor, and management reporting
- Identifying and implementing process improvements across finance

About You
- ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified.
- Previous experience in accounting, finance, or audit
- Strong Excel and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Well organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Experience within a growing business environment would be advantageous
