Management Accountant - Cambridge

£45,000 - £55,000

Hybrid Working (3 Days Office / 2 Days Home)

An opportunity has arisen for a Management Accountant to join one of the most exciting and innovative companies Cambridge has seen in recent years, during a key phase of its development.

This role offers the chance to work closely with senior leadership, providing meaningful financial insight and supporting business decision-making in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will gain broad exposure across management accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and process improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Preparation of monthly management accounts
  • Budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
  • Financial modelling and business performance reporting
  • Balance sheet reconciliations, accruals, and prepayments
  • Sales and purchase ledger oversight
  • Supporting payroll processes
  • Audit and statutory reporting support
  • Grant, investor, and management reporting
  • Identifying and implementing process improvements across finance

About You

  • ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified.
  • Previous experience in accounting, finance, or audit
  • Strong Excel and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
  • Well organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Experience within a growing business environment would be advantageous
