About the Company

Ready to turn strong technical foundations into genuine commercial influence? This newly created Management Accountant opportunity sits within a growing Yorkshire business where finance has real visibility, credibility, and impact.

About the Role

You will be trusted with ownership, encouraged to challenge the status quo, and given exposure well beyond the traditional management accounting remit. Working closely with senior finance leaders and operational teams, you will translate financial information into meaningful insight, helping the business understand performance, manage risk, and make better decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Delivering accurate and timely monthly management accounts
  • Producing clear commentary and analysis on financial and operational performance
  • Supporting budgets, forecasts, and cashflow planning
  • Partnering with stakeholders to explain results and challenge assumptions
  • Strengthening balance sheet control and reporting accuracy
  • Identifying trends, risks, and opportunities within the numbers
  • Improving processes, management information, and reporting efficiency
  • Supporting systems development, automation, and wider finance projects

Qualifications

Approaching qualification or already building your experience in industry, or if from practice, likely a senior associate/assistant manager level currently. You will ideally be ACA, ACCA, or ACMA qualified, with the confidence to report and present accounting information to various stakeholders both financial and operational at a senior level.
