Qualified Management Accountant | Multi-Entity Group | Fully Remote

Digital Appointments is working with a growing multi-site healthcare group to appoint a Management Accountant into a newly created role.

The group has expanded quickly and now sits at eight companies. The numbers have outgrown the current setup, and they need a qualified accountant to take ownership of group reporting, bring structure to the month-end process, and give the leadership team proper visibility on how each site is performing.

This is a role with real scope. You'll inherit a bookkeeper to supervise and develop, and the business has been open from the outset that they want this person to grow into Financial Controller and build a team beneath them.

What you'll be doing

  • Owning month-end close across eight group entities
  • Producing consolidated management accounts, including P&L, balance sheet and cash flow
  • Managing intercompany accounting, recharges and reconciliations
  • Delivering site-level performance reporting and margin analysis
  • Building budgets and rolling forecasts, with clear variance commentary
  • Supervising and developing the group bookkeeper
  • Improving finance processes, controls and systems as the group scales
  • Preparing VAT returns and year-end files, and managing the relationship with the external accountants

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Experience within healthcare, veterinary, or another multi-site service group would be an advantage, but it isn't essential — the multi-entity and supervisory experience matters more.
