Management Accountant
Element Recruitment is delighted to be partnering with a well-established yet evolving business as they look to appoint a Management Accountant to join their growing team.
Working closely with the Financial Controller, this role will have full oversight of daily, monthly, and quarterly management reporting. You will support the budgeting and forecasting processes, manage the fixed asset register, and deliver value-add analysis, with a view to progressing into a more business-facing, strategic partnering role over time. You will also play a key role in the company’s modernisation project as they upgrade systems, refine processes, and build their AI capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily, monthly, and quarterly management reporting.
- Support budget and forecast preparation.
- Manage the fixed asset register and deliver insightful value-add analysis.
- Drive business modernisation by supporting system, process, and AI improvements.
- Progress towards business partnering with key internal stakeholders.
About You:
- Qualifications: Part-qualified, finalist, or fully qualified accountant (ACCA/CIMA/ACA or equivalent).
- Experience: Proven track record in a hands-on management accounts role within an operational finance function.
- Mindset: Forward-thinking, self-motivated, and naturally curious about business performance, with the ability to identify trends and present recommendations.
- Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel or BI/data tools (e.g., Power BI). Prior exposure to a large ERP system (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is preferred.
- Innovation: An interest in new ways of working, including finance automation and AI support tools.

Package & Working Pattern:
- Salary: Up to £55,000 + benefits package.
- Location/Flexibility: Predominantly office-based initially (flexible/hybrid arrangements to be reviewed post 3-month probation).
