Looking for a Management Accountant role where finance meets high-impact operations?
EP Team is hiring!
We’re looking for a detail-oriented, commercially-minded Management Accountant to join our team.
Sitting directly at the intersection of finance and real-world operations, this role translates financial data into actionable strategy, driving cost control, efficiency, and commercial growth across the traffic management and event staffing sectors.
What You’ll Do:
- Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate monthly and annual accounts (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).
- Performance Analysis: Analyse actuals against budgets and forecasts, investigating variances and trends.
- Costing & Margins: Deliver detailed service costing, margin breakdowns, and pricing support to operational leads.
- Ledger Oversight: Manage smooth month-end and year-end close processes.
- Business Partnering: Present key financial insights and recommendations to department heads and senior leadership.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify cost-saving opportunities, refine tools, and assist with cap-ex investment appraisals.

What We’re Looking For:
- 🎯 Experience: 2–4 years in a Management Accounting or Financial Analysis role.
- 🎓 Qualification: Fully qualified or part-qualified (CIMA / ACCA / ACA / CPA or equivalent).
- 💻 Tech Stack: Advanced Excel skills (financial modeling, pivot tables, complex formulas) and working knowledge of Xero.
- 🗣️ Communication: Ability to translate complex numbers into clear, plain-English insights for non-finance managers.
- ⚡ Mindset: Proactive, organised, and commercially focused with high attention to detail.
- 💡 Bonus: Background in traffic services, event staffing, or operational logistics.
