Job Description
Vertex Associates have partnered with a growing Professional Services business to find a Management Accountant to join their team on a permanent basis.
This is a hybrid position with 3 days a week in the Leeds office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparing monthly management accounts
- Working closely with the Financial Controller
- Variance analysis
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Cash flow forecasting
- VAT returns
- Overseeing accounts payable and credit control
- Preparing and reconciling quarterly VAT returns
- Supporting the annual audit

Key Requirements:
- Part-qualified or Finalist accountant (ACCA/CIMA)
- At least 3 years experience with exposure to management accounts
- An understanding of revenue recognition and WIP
- Intermediate Excel skills
- Highly organised, a confident communicator, and a natural team player
- A commercially minded individual with the ability to communicate to non finance colleagues
